Terms of Service
Effective date: July 8, 2026 · Last updated: July 8, 2026 · v2.0
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Adsorp AI's apps and website. By creating an account or using Adsorp, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
Adsorp AI (“Adsorp”, “we”, “us”) is currently operated by an individual founder, Alok Choudhary, based in Bokaro, Jharkhand, India, as a sole proprietorship pending future incorporation. These Terms will be updated to reflect the registered entity once incorporation is complete.
2. The service
Adsorp lets you bring your own PDFs and documents (“Bring Your Own Book”) and adds AI-powered tutoring, translation, and text-to-speech on top of them. It can also generate original AI books and courses from a topic you describe. We don't sell or provide copyrighted books ourselves — you are responsible for only uploading or referencing content you have the legal right to use.
3. Accounts
You need an account (via Google or email sign-in) to use cloud AI features. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.
4. Credits and billing
Cloud AI features (explanations, translation, AI book/course generation, premium text-to-speech) run on a credit-based, pay-as-you-go model, where credits correspond to real processing costs. Subscription plans provide a monthly pool of credits; unused subscription credits expire at the end of each 30-day billing cycle and do not roll over, except when you upgrade or downgrade mid-cycle, in which case remaining credits stack onto your new plan. Because we incur direct, non-refundable costs from our upstream AI and infrastructure providers the moment a request is processed, credits that have been consumed, or that expire at cycle renewal, are not refundable. Offline features (local PDF reading, device-native text-to-speech, and locally-hosted AI via Ollama) are free and do not require credits.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Adsorp to violate applicable law, infringe others' intellectual property, upload content you don't have rights to, attempt to abuse, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the service, or attempt to circumvent credit-based billing.
6. Content ownership
You retain ownership of documents you upload. AI-generated content (books, courses, explanations, translations, audio) is provided for your personal learning use; because it is machine-generated, we make no guarantee of its accuracy and recommend verifying important information independently.
7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Adsorp is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. AI-generated content may contain errors and should not be relied on as professional, medical, legal, or financial advice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Adsorp and its founder are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
8. Termination
You may stop using Adsorp and delete your account at any time by contacting legal@adsorp.ai. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
9. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
⚠ We have not yet finalized a specific dispute-resolution mechanism (for example, whether disputes are handled through the courts of a specific jurisdiction or through arbitration) or a specific venue. This is a real decision with cost and enforceability trade-offs that should be made with a lawyer rather than defaulted silently. Until finalized, disputes will be handled through the ordinary courts of India.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the product evolves. If we make material changes, we'll update the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. See the revision history below for a summary of past changes.
